FDM or Resin

Each technology has different strengths. We'll help you pick the right one for your application.

FDM

Fused Deposition Modeling

  • PLA, PETG, TPU, and more
  • Build volume up to 10x10x10in (256x256x256mm)
  • Layer heights 0.1–0.3mm
  • Wide color selection
  • Ideal for enclosures, brackets, prototypes
Resin / MSLA

Resin Printing (available soon)

High-detail prints for miniatures, jewelry masters, and precision parts.

  • Standard, ABS-like, and flexible resins
  • Layer heights down to 0.025mm
  • Smooth surface finish out of the printer

Accepted Files

File prep tips.

  • Export as .STL, .OBJ, or .3MF — we can't work from images or PDFs
  • Make sure your model is watertight (no open holes in the mesh)
  • Include scale/units — specify if your file is in mm or inches
  • Thin walls should be at least 1.2mm for FDM; 0.5mm for resin
  • For multi-part assemblies, send each part as a separate file
  • If you need a specific orientation or support strategy, let us know in the notes

FAQ

Common questions about printing.

Most orders are complete within 24–48 hours. Large or complex prints may take longer — we'll give you an accurate timeline in your quote.
FDM prints up to approximately 10x10x10 inches(256×256×256mm). Larger objects can often be printed in sections and assembled. Resin builds are smaller — ideal for parts up to about 130×80×165mm.
Each part is printed in a single color. For multi-color designs, parts can be printed separately and assembled, or we can discuss painting options after printing.
Basic support removal and cleanup is included. Sanding, priming, and painting are available as add-ons — mention it in your quote request and we'll include it in the estimate.
We'll flag any printability issues when we review your file and work with you to fix them before printing. Minor repairs are usually included at no charge.
