What we fix.

We work on most consumer and prosumer FDM printers. All repairs are quoted individually before any work begins.

First-layer adhesion issues, uneven beds, Z-offset problems. We'll get your printer dialed in for consistent, reliable results every print.

Faulty mainboards, broken displays, stepper driver issues, and firmware flashing. We can diagnose and replace control boards and update firmware configurations.

Belt tension, loose pulleys, worn linear rails, and frame alignment. A well-tuned motion system is the foundation of print quality.

Labor + parts if needed

Troubleshooting Guide

What's your printer doing?

Common symptoms and what they usually mean.

Prints won't stick to the bed
Bed leveling off, Z-offset incorrect, or bed surface worn. Usually a quick calibration fix.
Gaps or holes in walls/top layers
Under-extrusion — often a partial clog, worn nozzle, or incorrect flow rate settings.
Clicking or grinding from the extruder
Extruder gear slipping — typically a clog downstream or incorrect tension on the idler.
Filament oozing or stringing between moves
Retraction settings need tuning. Can also be a heat creep issue in the hotend.
Printer stops mid-print
Thermal runaway, power supply issue, or a loose connector. Needs electronic diagnostic.
Layers shifting horizontally
Loose belts, skipped steps, or an X/Y motor issue. Motion system inspection required.
Display not working or shows garbled text
Damaged display ribbon cable or corrupted firmware. Often a quick fix.
Loud grinding or knocking during homing
Endstop failure or motor wiring issue. Needs electronics check.
